Facebook avatars are cartoon-like versions of ourselves or your imaginations for use on Facebook, Facebook messenger and Instagram. To use a Facebook avatar on Instagram you need to synchronise your Facebook and Instagram profiles

Facebook avatar allows you to share different emotions and self-expressions via the Facebook avatar you created. You can create a Facebook avatar via the Facebook app on Android or iPhone mobile devices.

To create a Facebook avatar you need to have a Facebook account. if you don’t have a Facebook account, you need to create a Facebook account first.

How to create a Facebook avatar

To create a Facebook avatar follow the steps below:

Navigate to your Facebook app on your device, and tap on the three-line menu or profile picture at the top right corner of your Facebook page.

Scroll down and tap on See more.

Tap on Avatars. Start creating your avatar. Select your avatar’s skin tone, preferred hairstyles, eye colour, eyebrows shape, face shape, facial hair outfits and other facial features.

After creating your avatar head and face, you will proceed to choose the body shape, clothing style and other attributes.

When you are done tap Done and Save changes to save and create your avatar. Congratulations your avatar is ready for use.

You can share your Facebook avatar to your news feed or set it as your Facebook profile picture. You can also use your Facebook avatar as stickers.

Note: You can only create a Facebook avatar on mobile devices via the Facebook app. The feature is not yet available on the Facebook web. However, once you have created a Facebook avatar you can use it on a desktop/laptop
